Hunger is psychological ... if you're happy you eat less ... if you're depressed you eat more ... if you're elated you don't eat at all ...

Shadow Story

Stupid background, pathetic composition but the objective of the photo is what we fail to see more often than not.

It is about a heart somewhere in the background, waiting to be noticed...

A seagull still flies...

The same day last year witnessed a tragedy. Many a lives were lost.

Mumbai bled, not me, not my father, nor my sister, a part of me died. The whole nation stood still ... but the bird still flies.

It reminded me that not everything can be stopped, life has to go on...

So I lived....

Paying homage to the martyrs of 26/11 terror attack.

Cut me, chop me, still cant kill me...

Some thing I strongly believe in... will-power feuls survival.

Self-pity kills you before you're dead.

Not alone, not lonely.

Being together; yet, standing out is what I call individuality.

Smoke photography :)

This is a fond memory of the day I ruined my Air condition.

I was stupid and crazy. Parents weren't at home, so I just bought a pack of cigrettes, clubbed them with incense sticks, turn on the air condition as it was a hot day, closed the exhausts and windows and got a wonderful combination of nice pics and screwed air conditioner :)

Nevermind accidents happen ... mere saath bhi hua jab maa baap ghar pe aaye ....

And this is all that remains ... a few pics ...

 

This is how I set it up ... with my A/C to the left side where the smoke is headed....

Its a gauthi setup but works like a pro and anyone can pull it off...

Mushrooms :)

Looks complex, is easy and fun ... of course, to colour the smoke, you need to know basic photoshop or pixel based editing software.

Most of these have been shot with sigma dg 70-300mm lens and 100-300mm lens thanks to SAP and Ramyajit.
